the oohlas are from miracle mile in los angeles, california.
in 2007 and 2008 the oohlas made a bunch of songs, and four of them will appear on the chinchilla EP, seen above. we were on stolen transmission once, then island, but they both died, RIP. happily moving forward, we are doing this all by ourselves now - we don't quite have a release date for Chinchilla, but you will be able to download as well as purchase a CD sometime in the month of February/March 2009. details will be posted here as soon as we figure some shit out. additionally, we hope to have tour dates posted soon (if anyone would like to bring us on tour with them please write our email on the left) and more details about stuff and things. thank you for your support, we love you. xx

we just gave a shout out to you guys in our latest bulletin. (cuz i fuckin love you) Anyway.. I was listening to your cd today and i suddenly figured something out... The Jesus and Mary Chain and Veruca Salt had a baby and named it THE OOHLAS. <333 yay. Thank god they had a baby. woohoo!
