The Oots are breaking up after 2 1/2 yrs. We've been tetter/totting with this for a while, and today, March 1st, we made the decision final. We had a good run, but you can never escape the inevitable, everything has it's end. Our last show will be on 4/20/05 at The Proleatarit. We would like to thank our loyal group of friends/fans, all the bands and venues we've played with and at, everyone one who supported us by coming to one or all of our shows, Mickey (El Paso Hot Button), Zurr! Breaking up? NOOOOO... I've keep having shows or work when you guys are playing... That's my excuse for not coming out to see you guys.. but I've been meaning to... Now, I'll never get to see you... This sucks...
Okay, I've figured it out. You can make this all go away by just saying it's a publicity stunt. Then you can keep going and going and going......and going. My boots are gonna miss the dancing if otherwise.

Okay, so I have been thinking about this ever since I read the bulletin. PLEASE!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! NO!!!!! Oh dear sweet Lord PLEASE NO!!!!!! I'm going into a state of utter sadness. You guys really have an amazing thing going. I really wish this wasn't happening.
I AM SO SAD that I missed yet another Oots show. Please pass along a Happy Belated Birthday to dear Phil. I'm sure the show rocked as always. Oh....no shows for a while? Damn my bad luck.
Yeah, we really enjoy your sound also. We'll definitely keep each other in mind for some shows in the future. Maybe we'll come to Houston by summer time.
