Duct tape tacked tightly across crimson tinted lips, bring me a breath of hope in a land of forgotten dreams. We were fighting this war together and now we fight ourselves. All the while, inside me wells with bubbles of freedom daring to fight the demon. Fragmented factions of crusading nomads to nowhere, we should be a symphony of its angels, but we are illusioned by our ego and individuality retelling stories to the ones who already know. And sometimes, I want to let go and drift from this dreary place into the unknown that some fear and some invite; but like a cat, I am curious to where the rabbit goes. Be good to them all is all I know, even if I fail and even if they hate me. My love will be like a fountain and you shall have it if you can recognize what it is. Open your eyes and cherish the gifts. We are all pieces to the puzzle or we would not exist. We are all torn like a shattered mirror from the center and in this aloneness we are longing for its return. Be one again in the garden. Take them by their hands and show them how to fly. There is no more time to waste on paranoia and fear. It will eat you and this is not why you are here. Unconfine your prisioned heart poisoned by the grey cement. The infectious awakening will touch us all. I see the light that does call. I get up again though I fall, fall, fall. I can not ignore it all. I can not be apathetic, join the suited march, and dig our children's graves. I was blessed with the gift of sight, strong will, and relentless rage against that which kills beauty. My heart is a shield woven with love from the light and I am a warrior of the Way. Surrender to the promised peace and ride along it like a dove on sun rays at dawn.
