We moved from the mid-west to Hollywood to make it big in the music scene and were quickly picked up by top manager Ronnie 'Z-Man' Barzell, the teen tycoon of rock and hepest cat in California. Prior to Hollywood, the band's name was The Kelly Affair but Z-Man thought it sounded too 1950's so The Carrie Nations were born. Pretty soon we hit it big on FM radio with our single 'Look On Up At The Bottom' and follow up single 'Find It'.
