Formed 1993. Eternalux was a precursor music project to the formation of San Diego pop-punk band The Shirlies, where Mark Sgarbossa sang lead vocal and played rhythm guitar. The Shirlies lasted from 1994 - 1997, released two 7" records and played lots of shows at local bars. After this period Eternalux was very active and the result of many experiments and upgrades, an album, 'The Secret Room' was released on Popgroovy® records. in 1999 Mark joined with former The Shirlies lead guitarist Jeff Trageser to form Rotator, a two man live electronic tour de force in the vein of The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim. Rotator released three albums and a single. They had numerous charting tracks on MP3.com, Rotator supported the Sneaker Pimps, Pinback, The Damned, Convoy (Louis XIV),No Knife, Kid Koala, Har Mar Superstar, Iffy, The Supersuckers, I Am The World Trade Center and Afroman amongst others. Rotator lasted from 1999 - 2005. Eternalux continued writing all the while, and in 2006 A remix was completed for West Indian Girl:("Hollywood" Mark Sgarbossa's 1986 Club Mix) and was released on Astralwerks/ Virgin Records. song writing continues and plans are in the works for a double album in 2008.
