SHOCK were a phenomenon when they burst onto the London club scene in 1980. This was a band with no instruments, who combined mime, dance, burlesque, music and theatre in a way that had never been seen before.Shamelessly stealing from anyone that they'd ever liked, Shock's live performances captivated audiences all over the UK, New York, Europe and the Far East. They released 2 dancefloor hits on RCA, "Angel Face" in 1980 - (produced by Rusty Egan (Visage) and Richard Burgess (Landscape) and "Dynamo Beat" in 1981. Shock were at the epicentre of the whole New Romantic/ Blitz Kids scene in England and worked with Ultravox, Numan, Depeche Mode and many others. Shock gave birth to TIK & TOK (robotic mime and music legends), Barbie Wilde (author, actress, presenter and 'Female Cenobyte' from "Hellraiser II"), Robert Pereno (clubland legend) and L.A.Richards as Pleasure and The Beast and Carole Caplin.

Thx for adding me guys.Dynamo beat and Screen me are two of my favourite all time tracks.Even now they sound amazing.I still got no robotic movement in me at all,i just look like i'm having a fit or something.I remember pissing Gary Numan off becuase me and a few m8's stood waiting outside the old Birmingham Odeon to catch you as you were touring with him, we didn't recognise him entering the building ( sorry gary )lol. He was fantastic though however, so i'm sure he'd forgive me.Great news about the dvd too, looking forward to seeing it. Once again, thanks guys. Wayne aka Tainted42
