   About the Orsons
Three songwriters from three different backgrounds converge to form an amalgamation of lyrical imagery, instrumental sensitivity, and heartfelt performance. Tex Santos, Chris "DJ Gristle" Steude, and The Captain Chas (or Chas) arrived upon each other sharing the same connections with the others’ music; and found in each other the muse needed to produce something both spontaneous and poignant. DJ Gristle unleashes his unending stream of creative song production. Tex Santos brings his gift for overarching and relevant imagery to the table. The Captain Chas adds instrumental meat and lyrical wit. Combined, the Orsons strive to compliment each others’ styles and produce something truly worthwhile.

Just stopping by to let you know about the FREE SHOW we're putting on at the Neighborhood Theatre this Friday July 11th. It's our only show in town this summer so we wanted to make it special, and what with the gas prices and all we figured what better way to throw a party than to just forget the price tag and get down! So come on out... we're going to have a great time, we'd love to show you how we've grown, it's a friday night, we've got two great bands playing with us, and hey... it's free!

Hope you're doing well, and we're looking forward to seeing you out on the 11th!

cheers,
The New Familiars

I'm sorry for my gay roomate/bandmate's "I bought you as pet. See how much you're worth while I stroke you" bullshit. But I've picked this picture. Let me know if you like it.

Hey the Orsons

Big cheers for the request. Real feeling music!

Here's a thought for the day.

Sangeeta

"There was a kabbalist on his death bed, and all his students gathered around him and asked, "Master, please tell us, what was the most important thing you did in your life?" He thought for a moment and answered, "What I am doing this very minute."

Look at life as if it were your last moment. Appreciate each breath, each interaction, each person you meet. Seize the day!"
