Dan Brown was a founding member of Fiction Plane. He toured the UK, US, Japan and Europe with them to promote 'Everything Will Never Be OK' (MCA, 2003) and 'Bitter Forces and Lame Racehorses' (Geffen, 2005). Dan co-wrote the band's latest Album 'Left Side of the Brain' (Bieler Bros, 2007) before leaving the life on the road to pursue writing and production, building on the experience he gained working with David Kahne (The Strokes, Paul McCartney, Kelly Clarkson), Joe Baresi (QOTSA, Lostprophets, The Neptunes), Paul Corkett (Bjork, The Cure, Nick Cave) and Simon Osborne (U2, Sting).
He collaborated with artists such as Radioclit, Grammy Award-winning producer/mixer Philip Larsen (Kylie, Goldfrapp, Moby, Stereophonics) and DJ Andrew Galea (DJ Bomba, ex-Freestylers) and D'Morgan (Sony ATV).
Dan's solo EP Nothing Special has also led him to write for Britney Spears and write + produce a duet for UK soul supremo Lemar and Shaun Anthony.
Dan continues to write and produce for other artists as well as for film, TV and corporate events. More solo material in under development...
