It started with the songrwiter and guitar player Bent Ivar Depui Tverslands leculele guitar and his present bass player Alexander Teinum during the winter 2006. They tryed some fun recordings just when they where drunk, and ended up with two songs"Hey" and "Hey, am still walking". So the word "Hey" have always stood strong in our lyrics for some od reason. Later he found his crew around their city Kristiansand (norway) on bars, partys and such. Before they had practised they where asked to play at Norways official "Wimens day" one wekk later. The said yes to the gig, and pagedown was founded.
During that time, they have been playing around Norway, beeing asked for a tour in China in 2009 which they are planned to attend to. Page down have also been played on the radio in Spain, Greece, Norway, Denmark and France. At the moment their song "Now I Am Gone" is beeing voted to 2nd place on Norways biggest radio station P1. They also released their single the 8th of March 2008 one year after their first preformance. We were given 4/6 from Norways biggest newspaper Fædrelandsvennen that said "Randi have a great voice that's catchy and we look very much forward to their debut album". Some people say that we are maybe the fastest growing band in Norway, and the members proudly agree.
Their plan is to complete their album which they are hoping for a more live feeling than the other recordings. "So people recognize us, they say" The music is often described as a female U2 artist, and with guitars singing. The drums are inspired by TOTO and guitars from Gary Moore to Red Hot Chili Peppers.
