He was the lead singer / guitarist / songwriter for the now defunct The Polk Street Band. The CD is still available through CD Baby.
He was born and raised on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in August 1993. He had a brief stint recently with a Hawaiian Band in AZ, KKO Hawaii(Ka Hele Kane O Hawai'i), before the band broke up after the 2006 Aloha Festival.
He started singing in music ministry at the All Saints Catholic Newman Center (Tempe, AZ) in 1996 and started learning the guitar in the summer of 1999 (thanks to learing the basics from Steve Phelan and a guitar left out in the Maggie's Place office when he was on staff there).
