Hi. We're The Overcast.
We like music a whole lot.
Actually, we think it can change the world.
We're a site featuring independent music.
We like music that is eclectic, creative, and awesome.
We also like organizations that use art for an even greater good.
So we like people who like music that is eclectic, creative, and awesome.
And we also like people who believe in social change.
And we LOVE people who say hi!
Please check us out at
TheOvercast.net We'd appreciate it a whole lot.

Thank you so much for "bandfriending" us, The Overcast(.net)! We truly appreciate it.
We hope that you find something of ours that will wriggle into your ears, burrow down next to your heart (in a good way), and compel you to ROB US BLIND (again, in a good way: "Free downloads, ahoy!”…that is, if Myspace ever gets around to reactivating that feature).

The interview is great! I love the Local Natives guys. I'm doing well! Just booking a West Coast tour for Loxsly and making some changes to my website. How are things with you?
Well hey, wait, I play independent music that i'd like to think is eclectic, creative, awesome, and striving for the greater good of social change... And I adore saying hi! overcast? seems SUNNY to me!
The new shot's been up for a little while now, but I think there are lots of other people who haven't noticed it yet. It was a spur-of-the moment sort of shot - we first tried to do a 'normal' picture, with us just standing in front of a wall, but we quickly realized that we're much more comfortable with being silly. All the same, I wonder if Adam should worry about how easily we all got into character...
I first heard the fleet foxes on la blogoteque, and LOVED them, got the album right away. So i was on youtube searching them and thats when i found first aid kit and immediately loved them too. Then i was searching Simon and Garfunkel acoustic cover and local natives popped up and now I'm a huge fan. I'm glad someone appreciates my playlist lol
