The Overdogs were a fast, old-school style punk rock and roll band from Lebanon, Missouri formed in late 1999.
We were honored to share the stage with over 80 bands from Missouri and all over the country. Brutally Frank, Vaginal Discharge, One Man Short, The Staggers, Zero Tolerance Task Force, Backseat Girls, Last Call, The Cooters, and many, many others.
We loved the live show and always tried to make sure people had fun. Some of you may remember our toilet paper gun!!!
We played basements, attics, wine cellars and tire stores, we didn't care.
The Overdogs were not a political punk band. We sang about cars, sex, beer, anger, angst, sarcasm, and many other things, but we really didn't care who you voted for. We just wanted to rock and ignored the rules of "the scene". If we had a message, it was this:
LIGHTEN UP AND HAVE SOME FUN!
Bill and Ryan now play in OLD DEFIANCE with Greg and Scott. OLD DEFIANCE is our "top friend". Check it out. Rob is currently serving in the U. S. Army. Go Rob!
