STUDIO
The Owl Room is a cooperative recording studio in Chapel Hill, NC, run by friends and members of the Trekky Records Collective. The studio is a semi-professional 1.5 room facility that is perfect for demoing, lo-fi recordings and release-worthy material. Listen to the songs recorded in The Owl Room:
TECHNICAL STUFF
The Owl Room records digitally using ProTools LE and Reason for programming and MIDI. We have a wide array of amplifiers, keyboards, organs, drums, guitars, and noisemakers that you are welcome to use. Also, a real piano!
RATES
Recording at The Owl Room is $10/hour. Half of that goes to the engineer and half of it goes to the co-op to buy new equipment for the studio.

SESSIONS
"Sessions at The Owl Room" is our recurring live recording series. Don't call it a house show, its a session: in which friends and guests convene to listen to music that is recorded live by The Owl Room, drink things and converse.

COMPILATIONS
The members of the cooperative will time to time release compilations of songs recorded. Each compilation will be handmade and feature the image of a different owl from The Owl Room!
