He proposed last Saturday on the 5th. He told everyone @ his work that he was going to ask me and some how or another his boss heard about it and came up to him one day and told him that he had booked us a suite @ one of the hotels downtown so we could go out and just have some place different to stay at.
So we went downtown on Saturday and walked along the river and sat and talked on a bench for a bit and he wanted to ask me there but there were too many bums around so we went back to check into the hotel. While we were up there I sat down on the edge of the bed and he asked me if I was going to love him forever and then he got down on one knee, opened the box with the ring in it, and asked me to marry him! It was so awesome!
After we just started calling people and grabbed some chinese food, brought it back and stayed up all night talking to friends and family and watching movies. It was fun!
