The Paepae Soundsystem are Producers/Musicians/DJs Ara Adams-Tamatea and Huta Thomas from the Kapiti Coast. We jam regulary at Nightclubs around Wellington and Horowhenua and have provided support to NZ Bands such as Katchafire, Scribe, Smashproof, House Of Shem, Little Bushman, 3 Houses Down, and Native Sons.
Also the beats on this page were all heavily influenced by Hip Hop Pioneers such as Dilla, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Tribe Called Quest, Pharcyde, De La Soul, etc, and is now experimenting by making Reggae Music in the same vain.
