Pagan Hammer is a one man project started late in 2006, this project was initiated under the name "Schwarzesblut". Only one song was recorded under this name before changing the direction of songwriting, thus resulting the name change to Pagan Hammer. There have been two self released demos; "Pagan Wolves" & "Foresight", both released in 2007. A split with the Canadian band Frost was released by Racheschwur Records at the beginning of 2008 titled "Winter Death". The Pagan Hammer EP "Ode to My Fathers" was released by Nokturnal Transmissions Records in February 2008. A Compilation ("Pagan Hammer I") of the demos, the Pagan Hammer side of the Frost split and two unreleased tracks was released in May 2008 also by NTR. A Tape compilation of both demos was released by Sabbath's Fire in July of 2008. And most recently was the release of "Infinitas Barathrum", a split with USBM project Nox Eternus, released by NTR. Next definite releases will be a Full Length album due for early/mid 2009 and a 7" for late 2009.
