   About the paint movement

"the paint movement is a balance of eurythmy between the four of us. We are in a process of building musical blueprints of the art we want to feel, hear, and see."

A group of 4 close friends living in the slumberous suburban sprawl of mississauga, ON got together and started writing songs collectively in February of 2007. As their passion for music has always been, their unique individual playing styles and commitment has grown exceptionally throughout the process of recording their first full-length C.D. in (singer/guitarists) Kevin Kraliks basement turned studio.

The Paint Movement is Kevin Kralik, Jason Haberman (bass/vocals), Glenn Candy (drums), and Jason Loftman (saxaphone/keys). With the idea of unity in mind for the 10 song L.P. “Our Eurythmy” The Paint Movement features other artists/friends such as Dee Planche, Lauren Casciato-Turner, Jeremy Panda, Bill Candy and more that all played a big part in the coalescence of a long journey.

All songs were written, recorded, and mixed by The Paint Movement, while mastered by Noah Mintz at Lacquer Channel in Toronto. Each and every song on the C.D. has a completely different atmospheric feel to it, but the balance between the consonance/dissonance and the beautiful yet chilling use of harmonically layered melodies come together to tell a story where the ending is only the beginning.

"A lush jazz-soul-feel with a vintage vibe and lush orchestral pop energy. Inspiring modernday music with windswept ocean breezes splashing musical colours." - Lonely Vagabond

"the songs are substantial pieces for the most part and with the creative arrangement and skillful execution you are still left wishing for more at the end." - Amplifier Buzz

That was a great set at The Horseshoe. Kicking into high gear with
exuberant energy, synthesizing guitar-fueled showmanship with
jazz-laced atmospherics, majestic sax solos, counterbalanced by breezy
vocal interplay. A band that creates something grand on a
Springsteen-like level while riding an exploratory Broken
Social Scene-themed whirlwind.
