Thanks a lot man. It's a song about this really insane girl I dated this once. She was a meth addict; we smoked weed and had sex together all the time. Everything was going extremely wrong at the time, but it felt like everything was completely normal. She ended up cheating on me and we broke up during a very intense night. And the song is supposed to be a very up-beat and incorrect look at the entire thing.

Steven's Lament- First of all, it's hard to review this song without taking into concideration that Cerebro has tackled things far different than this style in other projects and it's disturbing to be confronted with an artist who's forte seems to be more like a director of movies than a writer of songs. Every project has a script far different than the last, and I'd be hard pressed to believe a lot of thought and research didn't go into the developement of how these songs roll out.
Okay, so This song starts with a down- pulling undertone that puts the listener immediately into slow motion. A tension like this is almost unbearable to endure. Then again, we all love putting our fingertips as close to a flame as possible. That's what this does for me. Any more would be too much, any less would be useless. This sound goes and goes and goes. The vocals are slightly reminiscent
of Trent Reznor as they bend constantly like a sinister snake through the web of slow motion cob-webs. They never hit a fixed note for more than a second before ducking and weaving again through the debris of lust, hate, torture, and greed.
There is something very disgusting about this song. It's execution makes one wonder if Cerebro has multiple personality disorder for how can somebody go from projects that accurately portray Spaghetti Western style music, to the slimy self indulgent serial killer attitude of this scummy, and dirty, music with such ease and competence.
