What do you get when you mix one part music with one part nostalgia and add a dash of Cass Elliot? No, the answer is not a Mojito (although it might make you feel like you’ve just had one). It’s The Papas & Mamas. California's latest answer to the age old question “What the heck are we going to do this Friday night?”. Billed as a loving tribute to the original 1960’s rock band, The Papas & Mamas recreate the musical chemistry of one of the few North American groups to maintain widespread success during the British Invasion. The evening features the greatest hits of one of America's Greatest Bands. Sherry Land-Hicks performs as “Mama” Cass Elliot. Mike Butler's incredible tenor pipes are sublime as Denny Doherty, Natalie Wilde adds her angelic soprano voice as ageless beauty Michelle Phillips and Special Guest Luchiano rounds out the cast as Papa John Phillips. Their haunting performance of “California Dreaming” will take you back to the sweet Southern California pop scene of the mid to late Sixties.
