Unfortunately after the months and months of proplems with getting a reliable lead guitarist and being fucked over by other things it was decided that this band will now be killed off. everyone here are still the best of friends and will be starting some new projects together so that is not the reason for this decision. it's just sometimes you have to quit while you are ahead.
we have all had some amazing times with this band. and would like to thank some of the people who have been there and helped us out.

Lucy and Dave for supplying us with free beer, etc etc, the list could just go on forever. im sorry if i missed anyone out but there are so many people to thank its hard to remember them all.
Thank you to everyone basically. we love you all and will be seeing you all again soon in one form or another.

Dynamic, punchy, energetic, explosive just a few of the words to describe The Paper Trail.
Hailing from the growing south west city of Swindon the five members have worked relentlessly over the last year and a bit of the bands existence to promote there debut EP The Idea With No Identity which was recorded at Outhouse Studios With John Mitchal (funeral for a friend, hiding with girls and days in december).
However, it hasnt all been to smooth riding for the band as they have had two replacement members, the first being Stefan, leaving in October 2005 and secondly Danny, at the beginning of 2006.
This has not stopped the band from achieving what has been a very successful year for the five-piece Emo/Rock outfit having gigged in places up and down the country and even winning a slot on the very first European Taste Of Chaos tour in November 2005, which they played in front of a sold out 5000 capacity Brixton Academy where they shared the stage with major international acts such as Funeral For A Friend, Rise Against, The Used, Killswitch Engage, Reggie And The Full Effect And, Story Of The Year.
They have also played with many amazing UK bands such as Broken Daylight, Dopamine, The Panic and even more International talent in the form of MC Lars.
