I am a recent greaduate of The University of Texas - San Antonio. This past May, I graduated with a General Business Major (BBA), Management Minor, as well as a Certificate in Music Technology.
I worked at Rhapsody Street Studios for 5 years until its transformation into Hollywood Studios, working as both an engineer, as well as the late Studio Manager. In 2007, I was nominated for a Grammy as an engineer on Rebecca Valadez's self-titled album for "Tejano Album of the Year".
I've also had various other jobs over the past few years; artist management, video editing/production, and was part of an A&R development program for Arista and J Records.
Currently, I am working on both a new business venture, as well as a (hopefully TV) series called "Undergrad Records", in which I document the process of taking my last financial aid check and start an independent record label. Since its launch on YouTube, it has received over HALF A MILLION views!!! As with anything done on a large scale with short staff, it takes me a bit of time to get each episode out, but it's not like anything you've ever seen on YouTube before. You can check out the YouTube channel HERE.
patriiiiiiiiiick!! it's so nice to hear from you! i'm doing great... trying really hard to get through the end of this semester. WAY too many papers/projects due around the same time! glad i just have 2-3 more weeks of it and then it's summer time wooooohooooo!! out to the beach i go ;)
how are things coming along with you?? i bet your adventures are way more interesting to hear about than my late nights up doing research or writing papers :)
That sucks big time.. I'm sorry. I hope you are feeling better now! Yeah... I was sick too but I'm trying to build up my immune system to get ready for the huge temp/altitude shock coming my way. So how have you been doing other than that... I have seen you since like I was in the 6th grade, lol.. that was a LONG time ago!
