About me: I've been involved in the local music scene in one way or another for the last five years now, and during that time have done everything from promotion, to organising shows, to photographing events, to even mixing front of house sound.
However it was photography that captured my interest the most, and it is this skill set which I have continued to build apon. My work is currently divided between live music gigs and promo shoots for bands.
In addition to my photographic work I also co-host the Rock Out Loud podcast with Cybster DJ. We release a 40min episode each fortnight which showcases the best in independant music from Australia and around the world.

Yeah, I listened to a podcast that had an interview with the film makers months back. It's an interesting movie with an interesting development cycle. The studio pressured them to make the film more light hearted by removing the cancer element and George Lucas, after viewing some footage and a script allowed them to shoot footage on the Skywalker ranch that very day, an event for which they were totally unprepared and ended up lighting the scene with car headlights.
I can't find a cinema that's playing the movie near me so I'll have to wait for DVD I guess.
Oh yeah, did a bit of surfing, something i used to do when i went to concerts as a youngun. Glad to hear things are going well, praise God, he is good all the time, or all de dime as our jamaican bishop would say.

hey pavlet, well we spent new year in chattanooga. It was great accept the turnout was a bit of a let down but it was like 5 degrees on new years eve, sooo freezing! glad to hear you had a good one DJ-ing on the old beach missions trip. Don't work too hard okay! oh and the A-line sound was awesome as usual!! well i'm off, we're at mikes office and i'm supposed to be doing database updates.
hey pavman we just had band practise and before we did i read out your email to everyone and it was great. We are heading to TN on monday and we're headlining the show and bringing in the new year! pretty exciting and we're doing it on the A-line system that you heard in that small room in nashville! That’s good to hear you’re nice and busy helping out your friend. Drawing and designing sounds like heaps of fun! It's cool you get to be creative in your job. Haha awww fair enough about the car. At least it gives you something to do in your spare time though. I’m not at the Town Planner’s anymore.. Finished up a few months ago as I got a job at GC Council. Working in Environmental Health doing Admin at the mo. Finish in the next few months then start Psych at Uni in March. Can’t wait to get back to study. Strangely enough I’ve really missed it. The weather seems so much better for mission this year. It’s going to be so much fun. Do you have any bands lined up for Bruns this year? I’m going to miss Bruns but Coolum will be fun too I'm sure. Hope you’re having a good week so far! :)

yeh watcha doing now you're a big uni graduate? I can't make it 2 coffeeshop this year coz I'm gonna be down in Sydney with some family members who r sick over Christmas. It'll b fun, but I'm missing coffeeshop! ah well, I'm hangin out for next year... Well hav fun on shop DJ-ing n photographing n otherwise being indispensible... :P catchya later
