The Peasall Sisters (Sarah, 22; Hannah, 19 and Leah, 16;) are growing. Since having earned GRAMMY and CMA Awards for their contributions to the “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” movie and soundtrack, and performing at such esteemed venues as Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall with the acclaimed Down From the Mountain tour, this group has absorbed and presents the musicianship and professionalism of a band well beyond its years.
These three sisters and songwriters have begun experimenting with pop-country melodies and arrangements, while maintaining their Americana-influenced roots, to develop a sound that is uniquely theirs. Each of the sisters brings a different perspective to the table and the result is a sound that captures the essence, and exhibits the roots, growth, and potential, of these familial artists.
