NEW WORLD NOVA EP out NOW!! go and buy a copy from www.thependulums.co.uk
Once upon a time, a young man named Mike, was sitting on a bus with a young lady called Lavinia in the Heelans o' Scoatlan going at about a hunner miles an oor roond a cliff edge. They magically created the idea of a band called The Pendulums and swiftly set about finding the other members from the five corners of the town ! After a chance meeting with Mr Martin Beer at a Gong gig on the river Clyde, a trio was formed.
Then began their adventures with Mr Dimensional. He was a mysterious character who claimed to come from a magical village known as Kirkmichael and would often disappear without a trace. One day, he did and he hasn't been seen since....
Mr John Charles Wilson, a weirdo, had often been seen in various guises with the Pendulums, bangin' a bodhran dressed as a horse or jist fiddlin' aboot.
And after several cups of tea, a local type called James liked the band so much that he said he would join by playing drums over everything which worked out so well that they let him play trombone as well. He now drives them all over the place in his fire engine.
And then Mike asked his neighbour who was called Solveig to join on fiddle, cackle and mischief, helping to blend the whole magical potion in the cauldron of somthin'.
And thus, the Pendulums were created and they wrote many songs about socks and sunshine and witches and eyes and hats and other stuff. They've just made their first album called Moon Mountain which is out now. A forthcoming EP is just about finished as well. Awright ?

Hey! Hope you are doing good. I wanted to let you know about a show i'm doing in London on Sunday, June 1st.
I'm touring with Tommy Allsup. He played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is the guy playing on songs like "Heartbeat", "It's So Easy", etc, etc.....he is 76 and still going strong.
He is a character.
Anyway, i would love to see you at the show. I think as a fellow musician that you will really appreciate seeing Tommy play, and listening to his stories! He is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens.
If you want to see Tommy in action....check out my blog. There is a video from last week in Nashville from the studio.
Take care, the music is sounding great, and i hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Kevin Montgomery
