-The Perfect 3rd has already mastered the difficult art of ensnaring the listener, in whatever particular style they're delving into.

-A brief listen to The Perfect 3rd and its obvious that these boys have spent a lot of time with their music.

-Their songs are flush with determination, hunger and energy. While they tap into elements of, rock, pop, and metal, they combine them in a way that is both surprising and invigorating.

-The Perfect 3rd blends propulsive guitars, a steady beat and yearning pop vocals that climaxes in a detonation of dissonance and a volley of guitar solo's.

Currently armed with “My Escape” a 4 song demo recorded together with Erik Quintero (ELQ Entertainment) and Matt Geroux (Feverbell Studios and Sound Bites Dog, LA) released in July of 2009. The Perfect 3rd has focused on building a solid fan base in their home state of Michigan by playing non-stop to everyone everywhere. Their hopes of taking the stage show to various other states will become a reality very soon as The Perfect 3rd and ELQ Entertainment have made tour plans for the summer of 2009. They have also recorded at 40oz. Sound in Ann Arbor, MI. with producer Ben Began (Sponge, Ted Nugent, Electric Six)

The Perfect 3rd, formed in August of 2007 when Chris Wyman Singer/Songwriter and his brother Jon Wyman Lead Guitar/Vocals began searching for a Drummer and Bassist.

After interviewing 40+ musicians throughout the U.S. they hired Rohn Thieleman who studied under some of the nation's leading instructors at Interlochen Arts Academy and has also sat principal at Eastern Michigan University on Bass. As well as Eddie Beltran who studied under drummers Derico Watson, Virgil Donati, Alvaro Lopez, and Fred Knapp on the Drums.

Since solidifying a final lineup in the late months of 2007, The Perfect 3rd has been determined to be more than just a local band. "We want to give our fans that BIG show feel everytime out."
