Au cours des années 90 Peter Peter King travaille avec le contrebassiste Duylinh Nguyen dans diverses formations. Cette rencontre donnera naissance par la suite au groupe Parisian Jazz Quartet qui se produit régulièrement dans les différents jazz clubs et festivals d’Europe. Dès la première écoute on se rend compte que « The Parisian Jazz Quartet » s’inscrit dans la lignée des formations légendaires. A chacune des ses représentations, le quartet offre une relecture inédite du répertoire des grands maîtres : Charlie Parker, Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, à laquelle s’ajoute les remarquables compositions de Peter King. Le swing et la rigueur de la section rythmique composée d’Yves Nahon et Duylinh Nguyen soutiennent avec intelligence la précision du jeu de Peter King. Sollicité par les plus grands pour la richesse de son jeu harmonique et son talent d’accompagnateur, Alain-Jean-Marie, ajoute une dimension sonore unique à l’ensemble

In the '90s Peter King played with the bassist Duylinh Nguyen in various settings. This meeting led to the development of the group Parisian Jazz Quartet that played often in different jazz clubs and festivals throughtout Europe. From the first notes it is obvious that the The Parisien Jazz Quartet is in the same league as the legendary jazz groups. At each concert, the quartet provides an original version of the grand masters: Charlie Parker, Coltrane, Wayne Shorter and includes remarkable compositions by Peter King. The swing and the rigor of the rhythmn created by Yves Nahon and Duylinh Nguyen smartly support the precision of Peter King's performance. Requested by the majors for the richness of his harmony and his talent as an accompanist, Alain-Jean-Marie added a unique sound to the ensemble.
