The Gathering IS b-boys/b-girls, pop-lockers, emcees, graffiti writers, DJs, men, women, and children of all ages enjoying an organic, community-based celebration of The struggle, the Love,and the culture of Hiphop. DJs Ambush, Fatcat, Deuce, Double E, Skeme Richards, and Nex Millen spin Hiphop, breaks, and funk all night, and there are open cyphas, a tag wall, and a featured performance and graffiti panel each month. I don't think a day goes by that I don't stop and think about the feeling that I use to get at the Gathering! It is its own unique feeling, more passionate and stronger then LOVE! The realness is un-matched and I've been all over the globe, trust me nothing comes close...

Yeah, i feel you. but at the same time we can't blame them becuz they haven't embraced the tru essence of real hip hop culture like the originals have, and try to come in doin stupid shat like d-mackin, and wonder why they get played. so your right, we have to teach'em was real and was not real.
Real simple then . If any "newcomers" takin over It's must mean the original heads ain't holdin it down! If it's somethin we truly love , then we shouldn't need an invitation to make a stand! Then I expect you and every real true head you know is gonna be there next month to put 'em in they place. Sound like a challenge and next month 's all bout the breaks. I'm feelin that energy tho! yo, ima faithul dancer at the gathering every last thurs. of the month, i just wanna say i apriciate everything ya'll doin for hiphop at the moment. but we got to take it back. the gatherin just for some reason doesn't pop the way it use to. it's to many poser and new comers thinkin they can take it over.
