Their shows sell out because they play honest, country-as-red-clay play-'em-'til-you-break-'em songs that combine acoustic, bluegrass-style pickin', heartachin' harmonies, and the trashiest, booziest songs this side of of Pelzer. Thus they create a white-trash wall o'hurt all their own. Their amped-up Southern soul quarter can go from Del McCoury-style ensemble playing to Southern Culture on the Skids-inspired raveups at the drop of a straw cowboy hat, and their rough-hewn harmonies will send any Gourds fan to 'shine-soaked heaven.
