Err... mornin. fir all the latest info on our new album and single/video please visit our website thepigs.com.au
The Pigs will release Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) on October 26, featuring John Williamson on jaw harp. “Willo” and The Pigs also team up for the music video, accompanied by The Hotfoot Dancers, performing a Beyonce-inspired line dance.
Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) is the first single off The Pigs’ forthcoming album "Horses" due for release in November. T-Bone Pig’s trademark gravelly voice takes Beyonce’s megahit to a whole new planet! The rest of the Pig Family add banjo, fiddle, lagerphone, and steel-string guitar. The result is an irresistibly toe-tapping, strangely hip, Hillbilly makeover. Pigs’ Guitarist, Streeetch Pig, explains;
“We wanted to acquaint people with the original, old-timey version of the tune. You see,
my younger brother T-Bone sat down and wrote Single Ladies on his banjo, back in 1854”.
In July this year, T-Bone, Streeetch, Par and Cousin Billy-Bob Pig were playing their unique version of Single Ladies round a small campfire outside Tamworth’s ENREC Studios when they heard a rhythmical twanging sound approaching in the darkness. It was none other than Australia’s True Blue Balladeer, John Williamson, playing along on the Jaw Harp. The Pigs realised that the sun was rising on a fantastic new musical partnership. They immediately hired a private investigator to find dirt on Williamson and blackmailed him into playing on both the album and the music video. The band then kidnapped an elite group of national and international line dance champions known as the Hotfoot Dancers. Award winning Director, Leigh Richards, captured their unique fusion of line dancing and Beyonce moves in a one-of-a-kind music video.
The Pigs have developed a reputation for delivering outstanding live performances, thrilling audiences at places like The Tamworth Country Music Festival, Woodford Folk Festival and The Gympie Muster. They will be touring extensively to promote "Horses", due for release through MGM Distribution (Green Media) Friday 5th November. The follow up to The Pigs Golden Guitar Nominated first album, will feature bluegrass inspired arrangements of some very unexpected songs such as; Technotronic’s Pump Up The Jam, Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name Of and Salt n Pepa’s Push It. It will also feature great original tracks like Macho Moisturiser and Hey Christina. Look out for The Pigs touring their new album this summer!

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
