In February, 2005, The Pine Needles were born out of a love for mountain-style string band instruments and the musical textures they afford. "The Pine Needles" perform at a variety of events including festivals, theaters, parties, audio demonstrations, wineries & acoustic weddings. The band members bring a wealth of diverse musical experience into the string band sound. The group draws on american roots, modern folk, jamband, gypsy jazz, bebop jazz, world, acoustic rock, popular, and old time styles. We'll hear what other styles these four will explore in the future. :-)
The Pine Needles are excited to be performing in front of happy and enthusiastic audiences in a variety of venues! For a unique blending of acoustic sounds, consider The Pine Needles.

Good news: the Sunday Contra Costa Times rated Steve Taylor-Ramírez’ June 11 show at the Plough & Stars a "best bet" (page D5, May 25). They even put my pic next to Death Cab for Cutie and Brad Paisley. Not bad company to be in ...
As the paper says: "Berkeley musician Steve Taylor-Ramírez takes his Latin-infused neo-folk, across the Bay to San Francisco's Plough and Stars pub, 9 p.m. 116 Clement St. Free. (415) 751-1122, http://www. theploughandstars. com."
We hope you can make it. Espero que allá nos vemos.
