2008 is almost over and we're back in action after nearly a year of inactivity. Same line up as you last saw us!
A brief history
Formed in 2005 with a different drummer and a frontman. After a few good shows, the frontman exits. Since he thoght of the name, we changed it to the Pinheads. Numerous line up changes later, we're playing more and recording on a regular basis.
In July 2006, we record professionally with Marty Munsch and in less than a year, it's pressed onto a split EP with our friends from Texas, The Fuct. We release the record officially at our official record release party with Blanks 77 in February, 2007. In April, we go on a tri-state mini tour with the Fuct. Sort of a record release tour a few months after it was officially released.
Things roll along and we play more and more....until it all comes to a screeching halt. Jonny gets an amazing offer from his job and he takes it, as he should have! December 29, 2007, the Pinehads play their farewell show with the Bristles and Blanks 77.
August, 2008. Jonny returns to NJ. We start talking about reforming right away, but sloooowly. Two months later, we practice and it seems as though we've never stopped playing. We played better after 11 months off than we sounded at some of our shows.
Thanks to our long time supporter Terrence, we return to playing shows almost a year to the day of saying farewell.
