Taly- Lead Vocal and Guitar, Sam West- Drums, Bug- Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals...a little history: Beck was playing his midnite vulture's tour in San Francisco 2000, there was liquid that dropped into the mouth of an already crazy girl named Taly. The next day, after a life changing trip, she decided to start a band called Virgin Mega Whore. It was formed and debuted with a cast of friends, including the Birchard brothers. The group dissolved but Taly stayed true. Within a year the group resurfaced, all female and with influence from the Runaways and Sonic Youth. Original line-up Taly, Mariah, Lisa and Julie. Lisa moved to NYC shortly after and the group morphed again after a nasty lawsuit with Virgin Ltd. The band "The Pinkmeat" was formed in 2003 NYC, with Lisa on bass and Kim on drums. Kim moved back to the west coast shortly, and Plum joined to fill the sound with tribal beats. Their sound was recorded on the EP "No Resolve" which enjoyed some college radio play. In 2006, Plum left to write and play guitar for her band Thrillpillow. Sam West stepped in- February 2006 and brought in her huge slicing grooves to the 2006 EP "...something to eat" The current line-up delivers explosive live shows, more thrilling than ever, and will reunite in 2008.
