Red Sparowes Show:
We are doing a one off show with Red Sparowes in Bristol at 'The Croft'. We'll be doing a track or two from the E.P and testing out some new stuff too.

Decibel review:
This EP made some year-end prog/post-rock best-of lists, but, sadly, it's where I get off the boat. I dig Sound Devastation's roster of post-everything American-influenced heavy stuff bands, but the PSQ's crescendo-rock a la Godspeed, Mogwai, Mono does absolutely nothing for me. Its a carbon copy of a carbon copy.

Just on the off chance people read these little messages in this box, here is an update. We have written about half of the next record and we're now onto low-fi recording, writing/rewriting and just trying to make a Quintet record that is hopefully a step forward from the Debut. Not giving away too much but it'll most likely be a bit more mathy a bit more screamy and a bit more plump. >

The EP is coming out as a limited edition 200 run of 12" records on white vinyl. Also we are turning all pop and having three t-shirt designs done.....we are gay but pretty.

We’ve just signed a deal with Sound Devastation Records (http://www.sounddevastation.co.uk/). They are going to release theEP (mini-album). It's going to be tucked inside a four panel digipak and they are pressing 1000 copies. We’re not sure exactly where it will be available yet, but you will be able to get it off their website for sure and it’s going to be distributed by Shellshock Distributions.

Cancelled gigs!
Our drummer Jona has broken his shoulder whilst snowboarding in France and so we've had to cancel our upcoming gigs for the new year. We're all bummed out about it but hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery and will be back banging his drum-drums soon.

We have finally finished recording and now just have to wait while it all goes off to Sweden for mastering. We're hoping to organise a launch party of some kind when it's all ready.

Our trumpet player has sadly left to seek out new adventures in China and we're now looking for another trumpeter to befriend. If you or anyone you know plays trumpet and would be interested in joining our little ensemble then get in touch!

All the tracks for the record are going off to Umea, Sweden to be mastered by Magnus Lindberg of 'Cult of Luna' who will make them sound as if they're good songs.

We are now working with a stupidly talented cellist, a chap called Sandy, from The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra so he should be part of our ensemble as of our next show.
