Originally formed in December of 2002, The P. Lacquers are a 6-piece band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They independently recorded and released 2 albums. Their 2004 release "Welcome to the world of music" and a 2007 release titled "Awkward Party"

We have played with such great bands as The Slackers, Chris Murray Combo, Chris Murray (solo), Westbound Train, Deals Gone Bad, The Afterbeat, Mustard Plug, Umbrella Bed, and many more.
We have also done a self-financed tour in the US which allowed us to loose all of our money and go into debt. But atleast we had fun.

"In the middle slot are The P. Lacquers (Minneapolis) making their second Bluebeat appearance. This band does a nice job of blending authentic Jamaican elements and pop sensibility, and their horns sound very tasty. Judging by their tour dates, it looks they're driving from MN to LA, so come out and show support for a great band driving a long long way to play for everyone at Bluebeat Lounge!"
