The Plaid Perspective hails from Seattle, Washington. The Plaid Perspective, which emanates, genetically, from a quaint little analog 4-track recording project from Matthew Schumacher, has grown legs with the help of some generous and talented local musical peoples. The Plaid Perspective writes and performs songs, which are moderately melancholy, a might melodic and, at times, mildly psychedelic. Posted here are rough (but evolving) mixes from The Plaid Perspective's perpetually forthcoming release, Something Simple Out Of Sight... Enjoy, kids.
Most of the snuffling, growling beasts that roam and often stomp through, The Plaid Perspective come covered in fur. Some have horns; most have twitchy tails and vicious-looking teeth. The beasts snarl and howl and sometimes sniffle. One has a runny nose. Yet another has pale, smooth skin and the kind of large, wondering eyes that usually grow smaller and less curious with age. This beast is Matt, the boy in the wolf costume who one night slips into the kind of dream the Josephine was made for.
Hey Matt, good to hear from you bro! Please allow me to hook you up with a show here in Chitown! Crash our guest room. When did I last see you, Seattle in '99? That's ridiculous!
i'm not sure but i think
you may have been present
at more resets rock events
than any other human soul.
does that mean you're our
#1 fan? I think it does matt.
i think it does.
ps. the cds are here!!!!!!
Right back atcha. The old songs were great, but these new(er) songs are getting dangerously fleshed-out and good. You might have a solo career on your hands, in which case it's probably best to break it to the band now...
