Sounds Like
wilson phillips, generally. but lately, incidentally, we've kinda had a lurkers sound going. i dunno. who do you think we sound like? don't say nuthin' bad or we'll try to sound worse and play every show you're interested in going to.
The Plaintiffs formed in 2004 with a lot of multiple-personality issues and worship of bands like the Diodes, the Dils and the Parasites. There's nothing "new and original" about the sound, which is probably a good thing. But it is being carried on--tastefully we hope--because it isn't achingly contrived or a lame attempt at tap-dancing on stage with some hokey theatrics that the music world is filled to the brim with. But hey, those who like that stuff can have it. To quote a famous man, "What happened to just playing rock and roll instead of strategizing every single move?" It's called having fun. If that's why you're into music, then we hope you'll come to our shows, send your egos on vacation and enjoy the goings-on.
