Raavi and Bootsy grew up together playing music in their native country of Casanovia, a small island nation in between Spain and Morocco that has succumbed to the sea, probably due to global warming (or b/c Bootsy was supposed to be sacrificed to the volcano gods at the age of 9, but his father forgot due to a picture-box marathon of My Three Sons).
Buddy comes from the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire (The Ivory Coast). His father was a prominent cocoa bean farmer. Buddy started playing percussion at a very young age, and joined up with a band of stand-up drummers, called U-Two, when he was just 14. U-Two did several tours throughout Northern and Central Africa, and eventually came to the Mediterranean country of Casanovia, where they were paid an unheard amount of 25 shells to play the famous Club Ishtar. Raavi and Bootsy were also playing at the club that same night, and met Buddy while smoking jasmine tobacco. After getting into a big fight with his band members, Buddy left U-Two that very night to join Raavi and Bootsy in what became the legendary Playboy Psychonauts – famous to all of Casanovia.
The Playboy Psychonauts now reside in Indianapolis and due to amnesia cannot recall how they mysteriously ended up in America. One thing is for sure, they love to perform music and wherever they are, they GO GO GO!
