Leo and Owen began playing and recording in Sydney in the early 90's as part of the country rock band The Lucky Guys, when Leo wasn't busy with The Welcome Mat. Essentially a recording project, The Plug Ins dwell in the slipstream behind Leo's current main band The Small Knives and Owen's present dabbling in film scoring and other recording projects such as The Stingers and Nosky.
