The Plurals are an three piece from Lansing, Michigan. The Plurals play post-rock punk-pop. They've played it in jaunts across Michigan, the Midwest, and the East coast. All three members write songs and listen to music.
"Sure, the Plurals love the nineties, both the music and the cultural trappings. But so what? They've got songs, and they've got chops, and they've got both in spades." -Ryan Horky: 'zine writer, tastemaker
"One distinctive talent of The Plurals is the singers' ability to scream at the top of their lungs and stay in tune. Proof appears on almost every track of "Whatevers Forever," particularly the heaviest piece, "FTS." If the acronym isn't clear, just listen to the song." -Lansing's "City Pulse"
"I like the Plurals, because they at least try and be punk, you know?" -Matt Gregory, friend
In 2008 we put out our new album Whatevers Forever which we recorded with the amazing Eric Merckling (of CrookedSound/ Calliope fame). It hit the streets in nifty eco-wallets on November 25, 2008 with digital distribution following in February 2009. It is available from GTG Records and Bermuda Mohawk Productions as well as iTunes, Amazon, and DigStation. You can directly buy it right here:
