These lads from sunny Coventry, will invite you in with a welcome smile, sit you down ,bring you a drink,THEN knock the seven bells of B'JESUS out of ya,before gentley showing you to the door ,putting your coat on for ya,then giving ya a kick up the hole on ya way,for your troubles" FLY MAGAZINE
THE POCKETS take inspiration from anything and anyone. With all members keen song writers and experienced performers, they are merely interested in where their songs can take them, whilst weaving a mixture of light and darkness into the structures and fabric of their music .They currently reside in a traditional ex-car manufacturing town in the basement of an old ex-car manufacturing factory working mens club called the Standard Triumph in Coventry, where they strum and beat; sing and shout and journey away most evenings, preparing themselves for frequent returns to their natural habitat, known commonly as the stage.
