THE POEM IS YOU
is a band currently based in Berlin and Dresden, Germany.
Since their formation in late 2003, TPIY have at first produced a series of homerecorded EPs. In late 2006, the core of TPIY teamed up with a couple of good friends to set up a band with extensive instrumentation. In this constellation, in 2007 the new-found collective recorded their first album "The Promised South" and the attendant 7" single "The Ballad Of Old Harold", as well as the unreleased EPs "The Earth Shall Weep" and "South By Southwest". Touring and creating their self-titled follow-up album has been their major concern in the year 2008. The release date of "The Poem Is You" is AUGUST, 14th 2009!!!!!!!!!
