Reggae artists like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, from Burning Spear to Jacob Miller, various SKA artists, from Skatalites to SkaP and many others, some swing music and other kinds of music brought in the band by group members.

THE POKERHEADS
The Pokerheads from suburbia of Nova Gorica, close to Italian border started after split of two local bands named Skalabretti and Nervous Stompin’. They started practice in spring 2003 and few months later they already performed on city biggest festival called Mesto Mladih in Nova Gorica, some weeks later they were invited to join Pick Up Ska tour 03 which took place on Mostovna, Nova Gorica and it was a great success for them. Since then guys play all around Slovenia and they already performed in all important venues and clubs in Slovenia. From gig to gig they are more aware of importance of quality of songs and their performance. The Pokerheads made a trademark of their funny and crazy performance. They were also invited to perform on three biggest reggae festivals in our region: Soca Reggae Riversplash festival (Tolmin, Slovenia), Rototom Sunsplash (Osoppo, Italy) and Istria in reggae (Pola, Croatia), beside that they made good name also on Born to be Wild festival (Slovenia), Brucovanje (Slovenia) and some other events as well. Afther the last year summer tour they recorded some quality demos (their third to date) and at the moment they are in studio to record songs for their first release. They started new co-operation also with important management/booking called Kurz Rock Vibe, what will actually open new ways of promotion. The Pokerheads are musically speaking ska band open to other musical styles like reggae, swing and ska-punk, more often they made songs which we can not be strictly musically define, but in all they play happy, jumpy and funny music.
