The Pony Collaboration are a band who enjoy talking about themselves in the third person.
In April 2007 they released their first album on Series 8 Records. There was much rejoicing throughout the land.
The album was named DisCover Album of the Month on the Drowned In Sound website and was followed by a single, ‘The Fast Lane’, which received national radio play, and was hailed by Steve Lamacq as "charming and almost timeless".
The Pony Collaboration have recently completed work on their second album, ‘If These Are The Good Times’, which is due for release on 9th November 2009.
We're playing the Flea Circus again on the 17th of December, looks like you've a gap in your busy schedule then so you should come and have some cheap wine with us pre-ciarafest. We can also discuss what you made of my hometown, Bitterscene being a bit of a diamond in the rough there...
The Pony Collaboration features in my November show on Dandelion Radio, a John Peel-inspired online station playing exciting new and unsigned music. To view the schedule, listen to the audio stream and vote for your 3 favourite tracks of the year in the 2009 Festive Fifty listeners poll, visit www.DandelionRadio.com.
