we started playing music together as a trio in 1997. we led worship in a tiny chapel at the univ. of kansas, and really got to experience cool ministry along with getting to know each other musically. we developed our stage legs and began playing out at conferences, churches, coffeehouses (remember those?), and music festivals. we have 5 records to date, and hopefully will be able to make that 6 before too long. we don't travel full-time anymore, but when we play, it's like nothing else we know.
So, I walk into work the other morning and our receptionist has on a red OPEN SWIM T-shirt!! ha...I ask when/how she got it, she said OH GOSH..way back when I was a junior in hs! LOL...brought back fun memories shared with you, though with as old as that made me feel, I'm surprised I can remember back that far! :D Hope you all n your fams are well! :) ~"Bury of the Nile"

Hi TPBs! This is Allie. I am writing to ask you to help women with eating disorders find help and hope. There's a new CD out called "Tell Me What You See: Hope for those overcoming an Eating Disorder" with songs by Missi Hale, Constance Rhodes, Kim Keyes, Sara Beth, and others.
Please order a copy for yourself (to understand) and for a friend who needs it (for hope). Also tell your church's or college's counseling program about it. Thanks!
Hey Just thought I'd say hi from Little old Story City Iowa!! Home of the Amazing Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp!!! a bunch of us former campers and counslers were talking and listening to your cds and reminising about our experiences at camp and hearing you guys play there and knowing Tyler as a counsler there and we just pray that all is going well with you guys!!
hey this is collin from Agape Baptist Church. i just wanted to say thanks for coming to our cabin last year at Falls Creek. I really enjoyed it and i hope to see you guys again.
Thanks for saying "hi" to Lindy in the Omaha airport. It just reinforced her belief that Nebraska is one big small town, and of course that the Pool Boys are still the best band ever.
Hey Guys! Thanks for the birthday wishes... 28 is a hard number to face... But you know that, you've been there, except for Tim, what a young one! Oh, good news, I'm moving to Alabama! I'm going to grad school at Auburn! (Any tips on how to be a good Alabamian would be appreciated!)
Hey guys, my names stephen. Im from Bennet Williams youthgroup, in Hummelstown PA. You've played at our a church a few times. Anyway, recently, and quite unfortunetly, a girl from our youthgroup passed away. It was a hard time for us all. We played a song at her funeral, one that reminded us all of her, of christ, and of how things would get so much better. That song was Riverside. i was just wondering if you could possibly put that song on this site. every time i hear it i remember her, and everything seems to get just a little bit better, thanks guys.
Long time no hear! Haha! I hope all is well and that your individual ministries as well as your band ministry is doing well! Blessings to you guys and I hope to hear from you soon!
In Christ,
Jonathan
P.S. Love the Moving to Summerville CD! You guys sound awesome! All Glory goes to Him, praise the Lord!
Hey...
Just thought I'd leave a comment & say that I really enjoy your music =] I saw you guys at Falls Creek this summer & again at YEC. But I also wanted to say that "First Day Home" has really helped me since this summer. I fell in love with the song & it has sort of become my theme song since then. So pretty much, I just wanted to say thanks for doing what you do =] keep up the amazing work!!
♥Sydney
Hello. alright I miss you all so much it was an amazing time getting to hear you sing every single day and then get to buy your cd.s and get to talk o you all at Falls Creek last year. Yall helped me regain much of the habits that I desired and needed to have and I still listen to your music and pray for you all..Chris, Rob, tim, and Tyler, each and every day. Thank-you for what you have done in my life as well as many others. I know you all are strongly connected to our Lord, Jesus Christ and I was hoping that you all wouldn`t mind raying for my friend. Thank-you so much for your time, here`s my firends story as of right now.
Please pray for me and all my friends..... but esepically him.
Two nights ago there was an oil explosion and my friend was right next to it when it happened.
and he fell in the oil tank and he got second and third degree burns over 45% of his body!!!!!
He is an amazing guy and we miss him so much and I know that he wouldnt want us to cry but its just so hard.
He also had a collapsed lung but atleast he is breathing on his own now. He is a really good guy but he got burned on his face on the right side and some on the left side, and he also did on his hands, arms, feet, and legs. He also has three cracked ribs, cracked part of his spine, has internal bleeding in his spleen, he broke his collarbone, and his lips are black. When he was found about two minuents after the explosion his clothes we not visible because they had melted off of him. He will be out of school the rest of the year. PLEASE PRAY!!!! My friend and I have been crying all day and practically so has our whole school! EVERYONE practically knows him!!! We LOVE you EBAY!! Thank-you again, Brandi.
