STEVE JESUS: Steve Jesus was guitarist/singer for the indie rock group bamshire. He also fronts an alt/folk rock group called Flat Mary Road.
MC POOPDOG: MC Poopdog used to front a punk rock group out of Los Angeles, and eventually moved to Philadelphia where he worked with a number of artists from the area and other locations before starting The Poopdog Experience. FAT TONY: Currently on bass is Fat Tony. Along with The Poopdog Experience he also plays with a blues band. GIRLS GONE WILD: GGW is the drummer for the indie rock group The Major Leagues as well as The Poopdog Experience.
The Poopdog Experience has been part of the independent music scene in Philadelphia since 2006. The group was founded by MC Poopdog and Steve Jesus. Both musicians' roots come from places other than Philadelphia, and both of them have other projects that they do outside of The Poopdog Experience. The Poopdog Experience is a sexual culmination of everything in modern music. Melodic harmonies strummed on an acoustic guitar, pounding electro beats as background, and the vocals of a drunk machine gun spiting out words that would give your grandmother a ceisure. It is this diverse approach that the group has taken to their music, and the almost cartoonish live show, that has allowed the band, in a short time, to play in a number of venues around the Philadelphia/NYC area.
They are slated to tour the east coast, with a few dates in the midwest, this summer.
