In October of 2007, Jordan Romm and cellist Todd Porter began playing around with arranging a few songs that Jordan had been working on for the past year. Things evolved into a new project that incorporated a strong indie-folk influence with classical and rock underpinnings. Todd's cello brought a fresh new sound to the songs Jordan had been writing and his creative arrangements energized the music.
After a few months of rehearsing, they both agreed that something was missing from the ensemble. They started searching for a female vocalist/violinist and last spring joined up with Rachel Smith, who was moving back to Vermont from Denver.
The group plays all original songs and arrangements and is looking forward to getting things rolling this fall and winter.
