The Prestige rises from the fires of these modern times; A proverbial phoenix of sound and spirit for the world to behold. Hearts fade and lives estrange yet one thing remains; the power of creation. The Prestige holds this principle well close to the heart as they transverse the seas of life with an unrelenting passion and love for the creation and expression of music. The Prestige began their journey in the spring of 2007 when original band members Geoffrey Scott (Voice), Stephan Thompson (Rhythm), Joey Rosas (Keys/Synth), and Casey Delgadillo (Lead) were joined by drumming powerhouse Nicole Crisosto and Jesse Bucher on bass. It quickly became apparent that they had been blessed to stream into each others realities and subsequently form their melodic, expressive vision; The Prestige. This all original rock collectives' sound is gainfully reminiscent of circa 1970's rock and synth laden 1980's pop rock. This coupled with their endeavors in life and love have catalyzed a soul sustaining sound of truth and triumph graciously created for the entire world. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
As of spring 2009 The Prestige have finished recording their first EP. THANKS to their fans and friends the first single "Wake Up A Quiet Town" has been elected to be recorded on New Rock 107.3's SLO & Dysfunctional Vol. 6 LP.
