About The Princess Theater, Columbus MS

The Princess Theater was constructed in 1924. It was the premier place to go to see entertainment in North Mississippi. It began as a vaudeviulle house and was later used as a movie theater, and a venue for plays and other live entertainment. As a music venue, it has hosted such acts as the Allman Brothers, Eddie Money, The Misfits, Kittie, The Cemetery Surfers, The Independents, Black oak Arkansas, The Vibrators, Killjay & Mankind Is Obsolete.
