"È il 2004 quando Davide Caroselli (chitarra/voce) ed Andrea Faruolo (tastiere/sintetizzatore) decidono di lasciare alle loro spalle gli iniziali progetti intrapresi con band Rock e Blues per dedicare anima e corpo alla creazione dei “Prisma” band tributo ai Pink Floyd. Fin da subito al progetto si unisce Alessandro Luccioli (batteria/percussioni) già negli "NGC" (band di ispirazione Jazz Fusion). Dopo numerose ricerche e cambi di formazione vediamo finalmente approdare nella band Andrea Sabatino (basso) e Andrea Di Pasqua (chitarra ritmica). Nonostante quest'ultimo lasci successivamente il gruppo a causa di divergenze musicali, i Prisma sono ormai un gruppo omogeneo e ben definito nei suoi componenti principali. Nel 2006 si aggiungono all'organico Giulia Fattorini e Giulia Faraoni (cori) che ben presto lascia la band. A coadiuvare attualmente la voce di Giulia Fattorini è Sara Corbò che nel 2007 entra nel gruppo determinandone così l'attuale formazione.
Durante gli anni i Prisma hanno tenuto diversi live in locali e manifestazioni soprattutto nella zona Testaccio e Torrino di Roma esibendosi inoltre per la prima volta per l'"EpiKronos Eventi" in occasione del “Torrino Festival” tenutosi nel dicembre 2007. Da sempre il gruppo è all'estenuante ricerca della perfezione nell'emulare i suoni psichedelici di Waters e compagni in ogni loro minimo dettaglio. I singoli componenti prediligono e propongono live i pezzi più vecchi ed introspettivi dei Pink Floyd, cercando in ogni concerto di creare quell'atmosfera che li portò negli anni 70 ad essere la band che ancora oggi ricordano e ricordiamo con immensa stima ed ammirazione."
