The Professeurs is a four piece band out of Deerfield, Illinois, who has run out of patience with the radio. Combining elements of: ambient, as well as progressive rock, mixed with experimental and a hint of jazz fusion, they have created something that they can truly call their own.

The Professeurs of Economics's Friend Space (Top 8)
Pro-tools, really? Everyone I know who has it says nothing but wonderful things about it. That is awfully kind of you. I am not sure if I have your number however. I will message you with mine if that is of any help.
Also, since mid 2008, I've been writing the incredibly, simple, nauseating pop songs that you would hear on my music player today. It is a bit of a contrast to my "what the hell am i even doing" experiments.
Hello and hope all is well! I've created massage music for the mind using orchestrated melodic tones. I call it, "Warm Migration". http://randyvildsorchestrations. com Hope you enjoy!
Hi there The Professeurs of Economics first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
We have also built a pretty big music community which you are welcome to join if you want to meet new artists like yourself!
from one weirdo-music maker to another, i'm really impressed with the cd. especially "nothing." that's exactly the shit i want from any artist. it's out there and maybe the least accessible bit you've ever produced, but it's not dribble. The five minutes and change gives it time to develop and unfold and take me to a scary dreamy realm of ghosts or some shit spooky in that vein. the sound overall is terrific! good call on recording your album in a live setting. it really captures the band in an honest way that surely reveals your bands true colors as opposed to the original home-made demos you've had for a while.
o.k now that half the band is going to canada for school. put some lyrics in the canandian thief song, and then do the same for all your wordless music. you are not going to get mainstream then lame without words people can mindlessly play over and over till your sound has burned their brains out. my brain needs burning. give me voices.
